Destiny's Door

From the earliest mists of childhood

when angels beamed and my soul took flight

A nebulous memory has hauanted my daydreams

and comforted me through the long, dark night'

I visit a homeland unlike the present

the Goddess smiles, and I stand free

roaming the hills , the vallys and rivers

and my mate is there, smiling, always with me.

Together we've wandered through this life and that,

Together, as friends, and lovers and more

The promise of my childhood memories

are lying just beyond Destiny's door.
