by travesties of fate

or lies, betrayals and pain,

joyously, recklesslessly

clears the slate

and is eagar to love again.

Against the odds of distance and fear,

of a nebulous vision

and insecure mind,

the reckless heart

forgets the tears

and envisions two souls entwined
